Fine art is one of my favorite genres of photography to shoot in. It’s completely open to expression and vision. Everyone sees the world a little differently, which is the beauty of it all. The same subject through another photographers lens will appear a little different. The shot below is one that I’ve seen many times, but never created myself. Meeting with Lindsay Val Longacre the other day reminded me of the image in Peter Lik’s gallery called “Scripps”. I love the shot and always thought about creating it myself. Well Lindsay inspired me to do it and here is what I created. It’s a perspective image, so you can wall around the room and view your screen from any angle, and it will still appear that you’re looking straight down the pier. Sort of like Mona Lisa’s eyes following you! A computer screen can’t do this image justice, but once I have it on my wall, come on by for a drink and we can hang out and talk life! Enjoy! (and photogs, grab your camera and go create this shot!)
