In my last post I said that I have so many pictures that I wanted to share and I wasn’t kidding! This post alone has 16 pictures! I usually try to keep it around 10 images per post, but Megan was rocking this shoot and there was no way I could cut it down. That just means more for you to see ;)
Most of this post’s images were shot in the streets and back alleys of La Jolla, CA. When you’re down there next, look hard and see if you can spot any of these locations!
This first set was all natural light, which I normally like using for portraits and weddings, but rarely rely on for fashion work. I’m a big fan of “creating” an image shooting fashion, so a lot of off camera lighting is usually utilized.

Awesome outfit for this next set. I LOVE the fedora and Megan knows how to work it!

Two of my favorite shots right here! Megan was awesome with looks for close-ups!

This was one of those moments where we were just passing by, saw this window, and both knew we were about to shoot it!

When shooting fashion, I love to have a little fun with the color. Megan has some incredible green eyes that looked amazing in some of the other close ups! So, for you photogs, I went ahead and applied a green cast to this next set to give them a really cool feel and make those eyes pop even further! (when you do this though, you need to make sure you use the “sponge” tool in Photoshop to take that green out of areas it shouldn’t be, such as the hair!)

This horizontal shot is another one of my favorites! Another huge shout out to Megan’s modeling skills for rockin’ this pose!

The last two shots were taken in Del Mar on the train tracks after dark. I wanted that spot light-ish look that just sort of illuminated Megan in the midst of darkness. Her black hair is perfect for shots like this because it frames her face and makes her eyes stand out even more drastically.

Believe it or not, there are even more images from this shoot!!! I will definitely make sure to share some more in the coming weeks. The next set that’s coming is Moulin Rouge inspired, so be ready!!!
