Fashion photography is one of my favorites to shoot because you can really go out there with lighting, wardrobe, makeup, and color design! In December, I shot with Megan in La Jolla, Del Mar, and Downtown San Diego during a weekend that returned a large number of images. Megan did an incredible job modeling so I have a bunch to share, but couldn’t cut it down to just one post, so be prepared for multiple posts! I’ll try to keep the chatter to a minimum and let the images do most of the talking. Enjoy!

I really don’t like to shoot in a studio unless a job absolutely calls for it, and the next three images are the reason why! The location for these three is a spot that, 9 out of 10 times, you would walk right past. That’s what makes it so much fun though! (nope, I’m not telling where ;)

This is one of my favorite images from the day! I added some light because of where we were tucked away at, and it came out exactly how I saw it in my head!

Love this shot too ;) Okay okay, THIS is my favorite shot from the day!

This picture is why Megan gets the nickname “Dark & Scary”!

I don’t know how she’s balancing like that either…

Check back for more in the next few days!
