David Manning Photographers Bloggin bio picture

Welcome to dmp bloggin!

I'm a big believer in living life to it's fullest and for the most part, you'll find a smile on my face!  That's the short story about me.  The long story includes a passion for photography, playing my guitar, surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, hockey, mountain biking, skydiving and more!

I like good coffee in the morning, and good wine at night.  Cooking combines three of my favorite things, creativity, food, and friends. So you can often times find me in the kitchen making an Italian family recipe.  You're welcome at my house anytime!  Just bring a smile, an appetite, and if you want to score big points, a bottle of red wine!  (Oh, and don't be afraid to have your picture taken.  If you're here, it's bound to happen!)

All of these activities are amazing, but they would not be nearly as fun or possible at all if it weren't for God, my family, and my friends.  These three are the most important to me, and I cannot thank them enough for supporting me on this amazing journey!

ENGAGEMENT :: NOAH AND SARAH :: PART 2 OF 2

This is Part 2 of Noah and Sarah’s post, so if you have not seen part 1 yet, go there first by clicking here!  Like I said yesterday, these two had me laughing the whole shoot.  When we saw a pitchfork near the hay bails, it was like one big lightbulb came on over all three of our heads at once!  We couldn’t resist but throw out this awesomely classic pose ;)

It was like *click, click* then hysterical laughter!

Noah throwing out the country vibe.  I think this one should be Sarah’s new desk picture!

THE MONEY SHOT!!!  Yes yes yes, I did recreate the shot I took of Megan during the Ramona shoot awhile back, BUT it was sooooo worth it!  I love these next two images!

Another huge high-five goes out to Earl “The Man” in Ramona!  His ranch was perfect for this shoot and how cool is it that he has a real windmill on his property?!

There are really more like seven or eight money shots from this shoot!  These two were definitely on that list.

Here it is!!!  Noah vowed that he would not don the cowboy hat, but just before we left I pulled it out of my trunk for one more try.  Sarah immediately snuck it onto Noah (left), he gave one good tip of the hat (center), and off it went (right)!  It was only a moment, but Sarah told me, “Ya know David, that shot made me love Noah on a whole new level!”  So Noah, I think the points you scored with that shot are well worth the embarrassment you may endure from any friends that come across this post!

Sarah and Noah,

I had an incredible time shooting with the two of you!  Ramona was the perfect location for your YEE-HAW shoot, and I can’t wait for your wedding day!  You two are a wonderful match and so great to be around.  I’ll see you really soon!  March is coming fast!

People talented like you have bodyguards and an agent. :) Oh, and he looks like Brad Paisley in the cowboy hat shot! SO FUN!
