Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! Not only because the meals are SO DELICIOUS, but because of awesome times with family. I am so blessed to have a big family on both sides that are all so incredible. This year, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, one thing that I have to be very grateful for is my grandma Asalone. This little old Italian woman is 88 years-old and still in amazing health! She flew out to Orange County from Cincinnati for the holiday and we all came together at my Uncle Pat and Aunt Betty’s house. We stuffed ourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, yams, corn, and lots and lots of gravy (I really like gravy). Then, of course ended the evening with some of my mom’s famous Rice Krispie Treats. I still don’t know what she does differently, but they’re just somehow better. Alright alright, on to the images! Here’s a great shot of my grandma Pasqua Asalone.

My ridiculously adorable (unless she needs a nap and gets all grumpy) niece was there of course. How cute is she holding onto my dad’s leg?!

Yeah, she’s a ham. She’s two years-old, but if you put a camera in front of her, you get an immediate, “Cheeeeeeeese!!!”

Here’s my aunt and uncle’s place all done up for the holidays! Although, it’s one of those houses that’s all done up for something all the time. My aunt has many many sets of silverware and dish ware, and could make Martha Stewart jealous with the amount of home decorations she owns. Such a fun house to just look around at the walls.

The table beautifully set for the holiday!

My dad and Isabella. Oh, and her monkey. Do not try to take away her monkey! Bad idea.

I LOVE this shot of Isabella and my grandma! I only bring my camera out for a little bit at family events and I was lucky enough to catch this moment.

So I’m going to have to go back and find all the family pictures that we used to do at the holidays and they all look a little something like this. I must say, we sure are aging well!

Hahahahaha!!! This picture makes me smile so much! My cousin John was nice enough to top of my grandma’s coffee with a bit of whiskey. I may be shunned for posting this photo, but it’s my favorite from the night!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to endure, I MEAN enjoy, all or your families! Salute to good food, good wine, and good company!
