David Manning Photographers Bloggin bio picture

Welcome to dmp bloggin!

I'm a big believer in living life to it's fullest and for the most part, you'll find a smile on my face!  That's the short story about me.  The long story includes a passion for photography, playing my guitar, surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, hockey, mountain biking, skydiving and more!

I like good coffee in the morning, and good wine at night.  Cooking combines three of my favorite things, creativity, food, and friends. So you can often times find me in the kitchen making an Italian family recipe.  You're welcome at my house anytime!  Just bring a smile, an appetite, and if you want to score big points, a bottle of red wine!  (Oh, and don't be afraid to have your picture taken.  If you're here, it's bound to happen!)

All of these activities are amazing, but they would not be nearly as fun or possible at all if it weren't for God, my family, and my friends.  These three are the most important to me, and I cannot thank them enough for supporting me on this amazing journey!

HIGH FIVE iPHONE

I just wanted to throw out some props to the iPhone!  I met with a great couple, Sean and Jenn, down in Carlsbad the other day, and my iPhone saved me a ton of time getting there.  Okay, so follow me on this one.  I was in Vista and the only way that I new how to get to the SBUX that we were meeting at was to take the 78 West to the 5 South, then Palomar Airport road to the BUX.  That would have taken about half and hour.

So I popped out my iPhone, found out where I was, put in where I was going.  BAM, I was only 4.5 miles away from there if I took the side roads.  Craziness!  So I got there early, looked up REI and was able to hang out there for awhile before I met up with them.  HIGH FIVE iPHONE!
As for Sean and Jenn, they’re an awesome couple!  Just one of those couples that you meet, and you know that they are going to have an awesome wedding and even more awesome marriage!
I totally forgot to post about the “Master Your Craft” seminar.  Uh, it was RAD!  I learned so much and hanging with Ryan was a cool day.  Although it was before our Seattle trip, so we had two nights in a row of almost zero sleep before our trip…zzz…zzz…zzz…  Here’s a shot of my table space at the seminar, it was sweet!
